I used to play a lot of free video games on my smartphone. One thing that's very common in those free games is ads. You will be forced to watch ads every now and then. Most of the time, I will cancel the ads if it allows me. If those who plays those free games doesn't watch those ads, it won't meet its objectives. Doesn't that defeats the purpose of those ads used in games?

Gaming might be one of those niches where ads are welcome. However, overall, internet users don't like ads. Proof of this is by the popularity of all the ad-blockers.
