Do you let users donate to your forums? I think it's a nice way of letting users help you out. What do you think?

I don't really have anything on my forum that needs funding since I use free forum software. So, since money would go directly into my pocket, I don't see the need to ask for donations. People offer to donate to me sometimes for helping out, but I just usually decline their offer and tell them I do what I do as a hobby and nothing more.

We do allow people to donate to our sites yes. I am currently in the process of working on a forum to open in a few weeks hopefully and I will also be accepting donations there for people who wish to help with the forum's upkeep and new updates. Of course, I never expect anyone to donate, the option is there but if someone does donate we do have perks that we give to them to show our appreciation for their support.

I don't set up a donation page or anything but if people want to donate I'm fine with that and usually use it towards the next month hosting.

I don’t mind donations, but rather have people who donate to receive something in return as a premium membership or some service we can provide.
I also think that if someone wants to donate, let them as they might find it offensive if you decline.
No, I do not take money for free. If I am getting paid, I will give something back. It is hard for me to take money for free, never approved the process.

I don't like donation buttons or fundraising pages. They don't work. In that case, I simply pump in my own money, assuming I am not selling stuff and/or running ads.
I do have a donate option, but I do not shout it out for everyone too see
But since 2015 I had no donates
Shocking right
