Well I was over at the IPB website and most of the good addons for IPB are paid I mean xenforo most addons are free, same with vbulletin but why are most of IPB'S paid? It does not make sense.
Because people want to make money. But I don't pay for addons they should be free in my opinion. I don't make enough money to afford nice addons. Everything IPB such as custom themes, and addons are over priced. A custom theme costs $450-$500. You could get a mybb or xenforo custom theme (decent ones) for around $40-$50+.
They are paid because they want the money. I have noticed that since I got IPB. There are a lot of paid items there including themes. IPB should offer more free items though although everyone has to try and earn a living.
