When do you backup?

When do you backup your site? I don't need to. But when I do (get the domain), I'll update it every second, by using auto-backup on my forum.
It might sound crazy, but like they say, anything can happen in 60 seconds.

I back up once per day. I don't see a reason to backup any more than that.

Daily works, but 12/24 hours if its easily hackable...

I actually only do it once every 2 or 3 days. My host already backs my site up daily but they delete the old file when they do. So I just back up every couple days and keep all the files just in case. Also remember to back up the one from your computer too. I accidentally deleted all my back ups. But luckily I backed up my back ups. But the last time I did that was 2 months ago. So I lost around 2 months of files. But it is still okay cause I still have current back ups now.

I wouldnt be able to live with myself if something went wrong and my latest backup was from like a month ago.

I backup every secound day

but it does depend how active your forum is a site like myne that is only starting out wont need to be that often but a active site such as hackforums.net or AdminForums will need backups every day

Daily, some sites I help at are running backups every 12 hours though

I back up every few days, I forget most of the time :/

Files are backed up weekly, database is done at least once a day

I just backed up my files today for the first time this month.

I backup my forum database every day and my files are done once per month.

I backup as often as possible. But my other admins do it too.

Weekly back ups. Host does daily back ups which i can grab for £5 fee.

I backup all account on my vps every 24hours.

Our server is very strong and also offer offline backup weekly to other location so I never backup, just take it when I have a plan to move to another

I have a cron job setup to do a MySQL dump every day which is stored in the files and I do the files manually about once a week.

Not as often as I should. Having a decent web hosting provider made me lazy. I should start backing up though, since some of my sites are pretty big now and losing the databases wouldn't make me too happy
