I never used any plugins but I started to get lots of spam posts so I now have: - akisment - WP-Ban (Ban users by IP, IP Range, host name, user agent and referer url from visiting your WordPress's blog.) Google XML Sitemap WP reChaptcha JetPack HeadSpace2 So what plugins do you use?

The new site has the following plugins: Akismet - awesome for keeping spam at bay. Awesome Flickr Gallery - two choices of galleries plus it saves hosting your images on your site, stick them on flickr and link to them. Google XML Sitemap - a must Jetpack - comes with loads of awesome features, I use a few but not all of them, the stats one is good. WP - recaptcha- does what it says on the time WP - stats dashboard- helps track your site needs jetpack to work though

Blog i'm working on uses, i think, All In One SEO, enhanced recent posts, social login, aksimet, disqus and wp cache.
I use Akismet, Auto Tweet, All in One SEO pack, Contact Form, IP Board comments, Shareaholic share buttons, No Bot Question, Twitter for Wordpress and a few others.
I can see everyone uses Akismet lol. Here is a short list for me: Akismet (Protect from spam) Author Advertising (I give the revenue with those who create the articles) Disqus (For comments) FancyBox (Better images display) Pagelines Customize (When I was using their framework, Guess I can delete it now.)
