I feel the new VB to be resource-hungry and puts so much load on the server. Does anybody have similar experience?
Well, my problem is with the 'activity' crap they push now and the fact that AGAIN I have to re-do our designs for it, 2 weeks after my client had the main forum upgraded (theme too) and now we're doing it again. It's annoying, even if I actually get paid for all my work.
oh my God, thatz so bad. I just ordered a license some time ago for my client. What is the best and cheap, preferably free, theme you recommend for a VB for a forum based on healthcare products.
The new release has a crappy activity stream as the homepage instead of the forum and that is rather annoying.

Isn't that just more annoying things added though? You shouldn't have to start coding things up to make your forum a forum again?
Actually i brought a license recently...it's not hard at all to change the default home page back to the forums. idk what people were making such a big deal about...it was easy and i am usually dumbfounded with forum software.
I have a forum that is VB4.2 (I had the license and couldn't waste it) and the activity stream was very annoying but I quickly found a guide on the vbulletin forums. Give me a few mins and I will root it out for you
