I f you are going to expend and invest some time as Administrator or Moderator of a forum not yours, what do you expect from the forum and or owner(s)?
I expect lots of time and dedication put in by the team, as that's what I'm doing. Then, I expect everyone to get along and flow as a team, that way the forum runs very smoothly
I expect them to be active on the forums, posting, and helping out users that may have trouble. If they are admin, I also expect them to add valuable input and be able to do wonderful things with the forum set-up.
I expect owners and staff members alike to be friendly, helpful and professional. I also like it when they take the time to post on their forums and get involved with their communities.
i expect forum staff to post regularly and be online most days. i expect them to deal with members who break the rules. they shouldnt abuse their power, or be too strict.
I do suppose that in myself I need a lot from a forum owner and of course, the current staff of the place itself. From a forum owner I expect that they are actually dedicated to the forum itself and not just in it to post every now and then and rake in money at a later date. I see too many forum owners doing that but I expect them to be active, contributing to the forum side of things as well as the backend side of things (Should they know how) and striving to improve things. I see too many admins failing at making themselves integrate with the actual forums members. The ones who cannot accept criticism just make me cringe. You will not be a successful owner without taking criticism now will you? As for the current staff, it is the same as the owner really. They need to be integrating with the community as well as acting like a normal member. Bridging that gap between 'staff' and 'member' is a big thing in my books.
i expect that they have to look after the post i mean reply to the each post. spend time and helping other members.
I expect for them to take an active role in leading the forum and to treat me as an equal and part of a team - if they don't, I won't stick around.
I would expect him to do the following: 1. Daily stats watch 2. Periodical backups 3. Tracking traffic using analytics 4. Act on feedback from members 5. Do marketing and establish new connections to increase growth of forum. 6. Be active, courteous, mature, considerate, and unbiased. 7. Plan and conduct surveys and promotional events.
