I'm writing this to announce that today is my last day as owner and founder of Chatting Time. Chatting Time is a little over a year and a half old, but we have some awesome changes coming up for the forum! For those of you who aren't members, this is my final PM/newsletter bit to inform all members of the goings ons and Chatting Time: Hey guys, as you know, Chatting Time has been in my possession for nearly 2 years. However, as you all also know, my time is seriously limited due to health issues, as well as other real life dillemmas. I also work at a job with an unpredictable schedule, so while I have a rough idea of how late I'll be working on a given day, it's not a sure thing. I am looking at stepping down towards a moderator position due to my health, an unpredictable work schedule, among other things. Now, this isn't to say that I'm just simply no longer going to be active, I am saying that, hopefully by stepping down to a less demanding position, I can still help this forum anyway I can. Ash knows the back way around owning a forum a heck of a lot more than I do, so I am more than happy to hand everything over to him. If the going gets too rough, I may even resign altogether and just post as a regular member. Now, if I do quit all together, that does NOT mean I am going to quit and restart a forum like I've done in the past. My schedule has just gotten too limited to be pulling that sort of crap. Once I'm done, I'm done, that's the end of it. Sure, I'll have my days when I'll miss owning a forum... there's no denying that. It's just that now that it's me and mom at home, I just feel it's time to reconsider some things. I'll try my luck as a moderator for now, and if it really doesn't work out, then I'm just going to give it up all together once and for all. We lost my step-dad last November, so things have gotten busier than ever here at home. You have all seen how brief my visits have been lately as well. Not just this forum but on ANY forum... I sincerly want to send out a heart-felt thank you to Ashley.S. (SpacewardAsh) for his help on this project. There is no way I could've accomplished this without you, and I really look forward to working along side you at Pluto Hosting. Kevin: I can't thank you enough. You've been there for this forum in it's darkest hours and there's no way I could ever thank you enough for that. You have litterally been the backbone of CT and I look forward to working alongside you at Pluto Hosting as well! Evil Eye:Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you've done for Chatting Time over the last year and a half. Sure, you didn't get to use your moderator powers much, but just your posting and being active meant more to me than you will ever know! As always, I want to send out a huge thank you to our memberbase here at Chatting Time. You guys have all been awesome, and while we've had our ups and downs, well, there's no way I could ever repay any of you for the ways you've all helped this forum. Back in 2000, one of the Backstreet Boys once said, "Without you there would be no Backstreet Boys--so hats off to you!" I'd like to say the same thing on behalf of Chatting Time: "Without you, CT would never have existed, so hats off to you!" Honestly, we've been through a lot together and I wouldn't trade these memories in for anything! I am grateful for every last one of you, even though I didn't express it as often as I should.
