Hey, What sites do you use promote your site through social media? Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest? Any others? Do you have any stats on these? Which are most successful? I use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, EmpireAvenue, Flickr & Youtube. Facebook clearly has the most number of likes but I can't give you any conversion rates I'm afraid. Cheers, Jack

Stumbleupon and DZone also works good in some cases. In general Facebook, Twitter and now Pinterest is good to use on regular basis.
I mainly use Twitter, however I will sometimes go to Facebook as a source of social media as well. I mainly stick to those as there the more popular ones for the time being which would gain more exposure.
At the moment the only sites I am currently using for promotional reasons are Twitter and Facebook however I have looked into using Pinterest to help promote my site however still not quite got to grips with that. I do have a Google+ page aswell that I started to use but I haven't continued however that is something I do want to get back into doing.
