I suppose I will review this software since I have used it before. http://www.sharetronix.com/ Its a microblogging software allowing you to run your own twitter-clone type website. It is very secure and packed full of features, even on the free version. I think its good if you want your website to remain a Twitter like site but if you want more of a full blown social network, I suggest going with PhpFox or Boonex Dolphin. I have successfully integrated MyBB into STX as well using the mybb api function of I can't remember who did it, lol.
