How do you deal with posts in another language apart from English? :p

I mean discussion is discussion right? But what if you couldn't understand that language would it make you feel an outcast in your own forum?

    Do you allow Non-English posts~?

No. I am Romanian, but my English forum doesn't use Romanian. All my members are required to write in a proper English, even if they're not native speakers.

I don't allow it, but I would always remind the member of a free translator >.<

We make sure that there's something that says "this is an English speaking forum", but we did have a section where members could speak to one another in their native tongue ^^

That would make it awkward though if they did.. I wouldn't understand a word xD

I may allow my members to write in Spanish since I know some spanish and would be able to moderate it somewhat. But I think the members should post in English show you know what is going on. I see a lot of spam that is in Russian...

I would allow the odd post that wasn't in english as long as it wasn't completely random but if it started to become a major problem then I would put an end to it.

I can understand it by Google Translation, you have to take my advice so your members don't go away far. :)

To avoid these situations, all users must speak the same language, it is a community and forums are made to post them. I think English should be the default language

Because my forum is used more by people who speak English than any other language I do not allow posting in other languages no. I wouldn't hesitate to offer a translator on my forum if it was possible so that people on my forum who spoke in a different language could still read the posts and such but they would need to be able to post in the English language.

English in the language in the main forum sections, while German is allowed in international section.
