What does everybody think of the new facebook timeline? I honestly think they are trying to copy twitter with this. It looks nice but isn't very user friendly and looks too different to what Facebook was originally. It seems they are shifting the whole focus of facebook away from its original intention.
I like it on my droid and I liked it on my PC at home but I seem to be getting more bugs and errors after enabling it on my home PC. It seems like it takes several attempts to edit my profile and what not, I keep having to refresh the page and click the buttons again and again.
It is an interesting switch. I don't necessarily think it change its purpose. I like how it bring more attention to some stuff you have done in the past.
its stupid facebook is build for connecting with friends now it seems like its for telling your life story i dont recommend felling out all this on any website. what happened if you get hacked or a privacy breach happens
The new design isn't Facebook. When Twitter made their transition, it was related to their initial design. Nothing much changed, except it got wider. With Facebook, the whole design can't be compared to the previous design because they are almost polar opposites. And it's a bit awkward visiting previous years
I am using it myself for 2 weeks already. Pretty nice. Looks better than the 'default' display, that's for sure.
I don't really see a difference, and it doesn't really matter to me. I am sticking with the old FB so I don't have to relearn how to use it.
I have mixed feelings about it, but there is no way to change back to the old layout, so I guess we're all stuck with it!
