As I said, this system is 100% unique, I programmed it myself. It's not a MyBB plugin but it is fully integrated with the MyBB database. Is it tied into the forum it will be with so that when someone signs up for my forum, it is also the same forum account that they use on the blog? If so, it seems pretty good
Nope, it works with your existing MyBB database so you only have to upload the files and it should work =) It's working in a sub-directory like /blogs/ but that can easily be changed.

What about permissions? Can you stop certain usergroups from using the blog system? Can you integrate this with your forum (header and footer at least)?
The design is not really too hard to modify, but it runs from connecting to the same database and using the same authentication. It's very easy to block specific user groups with simple code. Of course if you was to purchase this you'd receive the same customer support as all DesignSkate customers do.
Would this mean if I bought this, you would help me block certain usergroups from accessing it and anything else I needed?
Exactly! To the extent we can of course, but all customers receive a response within 24 hours, 7 days a week.
