Well a member pm'd me on my forum saying he had just visited postloop and looked at the list of forums and saw that we were buying posts. He threatened to tell all our other members that we are "cheating" activity. I think postloop should make the list of forums non-visable to guests at the very least. I don't want my members knowing I am paying for posts. What should I do? Has this ever happened to you?
Do postloop actually say which forums they have posted on? If that is true then that is not good as that information is widely available to anyone. This has never happened to me, I would pm or email the Admin
I actually recently visited postloop recently and found some forums that I thought were active but turned out to be buying forums. But honestly the person must have no life to go tell everyone for something like that. What you can do is go contact the owner in postloop forum and see what he has to say. He might agree to maybe not show the forums for guest. But at the same time how does the person know you are buying posts? You could be doing post exchanges instead. But if you are one of the top sites in the list with a lot of points like 500+ or so then ya then people will guess you bought posts. @Subz, postloop gives a list of the forums that people can post on. Doesn't say how many posts have been posted on that site using postloop.
I know this might not be the best way to deal with it or prevent it but you could use an alternate url and use a different name to make it less obvious which site it is when people are browsing the list of forums
I would try to hold off using sites like postloop unless your site is completley dead and it is your last option but you could just ban him if he creates any drama on your forum. Or you could just stop using it
