Mario Balotelli Apologises To Inter & Jose Mourinho

Inter striker Mario Balotelli has said "sorry" to the club following the recent tension between him and coach Jose Mourinho.

His comments come just hours after reports from Appiano Gentile claimed he had clear-the-air talks with Mourinho.

Balotelli has been excluded from the squad six times, leading to his agent Mino Raiola claiming he "had paid a heavy price," prior to sitting out the 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow.

President Massimo Moratti replied to that statement by saying "I don't care about Balotelli."

But, after reconciliation talks, Balotelli has promised swift action to get himself back on the straight and narrow.

A statement on the club's official website reads:

"I am sorry for the situation that has been created in recent times. I am the first to suffer because I love football and I want to play. I will wait in silence now so I can return to be useful to my team. I no longer want to think about the past, but look to the future and focus on our next objectives so I can be ready. Mario Balotelli."

The striker may be back in action against Bologna this weekend.
