Have you ever been contacted by people who want to be media partners? What does this actually entail? I am sure it is just a way for bi companies to get free advertising from hoards of smaller ones but I could be wrong. I got emailed by some guy from a large company wanting free advertising for his product for a partner link.
I have been emailed a couple of times by a company I have never heard of asking to advertise their site on mine. They have a link to click on but I don't click on it because I am very suspicious of unknown emails these days. I would be very careful if they ask you to click on any link...
I have been approached by some awesome people who wanted to be media partners, ForumCon for example and other online businesses regularly contact me to form partnerships of sorts. It isn't always about getting free advertising, I think both sides bring something to the deal.
