Is it easy to merge forums?

    Is it easy to merge forums with an IPB 3.2 forum? I want to know before trying it out and ruining everything :p

    Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.

    IPB is very unpredictable when it comes to their merging system, I have had merges with it that have gone smoothly and others that have been impossible so I have had to use vBulletins impex to do the job.

    It depends what. I believe the easiest would be to merge 2 forums with same software. But even that has its bad things.

    My friend was merging his 2 VB forums and one of them completely got erased. So pretty much he just transferred one from to another domain.
