Before becoming an admin I thought it would be easy work but soon enough I learned otherwise. For me it is very stressful and hard work. Is it everything you thought it would be?
easier than i expected, when i first saw the admin control panel i was completely and utterly lost and wondering what i let myself in for.
Well, I can't really say it is everything I expected because it is that and a hundred things more. I have seen and been through so much crap you wouldn't belive, from crazy agressive competitors down to attacks, mass spam and negative seo. In the last year I have plowed through it all, designed 3 custom themes for the forum and hit a consistant #1 spot for our main keyword beating the biggest forum in our niche. It has had its joyful, exciting moments and its hair pulling please god shoot me now ones too But overall I would say it has been amazing and I have loved it
It has been challenging but I have had a positive time and I am looking forward to the future of my community
I had talked with many owners before I actually became one to get the experience and knowledge of what it is like and they basicly said in these words 'stressful, time consuming and depressing' I was like surely it cant. But I guess it is. I love upholding my communitys though and giving the members what they need to keep it a clean and peaceful community
Yeah it is very stressful and time consuming but at the end of the day it pays off right? If it doesnt then you need to find a new hobby
