I have tried to install the Ultimate Points plugin for phpbb, but there coding has me completely stumped. could anyone possibly help. I don't want to install the plugin wrongly as I could wreck my forum again.
You could try installing it on your local pc by setting up an identical backup version of your board, if you don't have a local server I recommend installing Xampp Or alternatively you could visit a phpbb support forum such as phpbbcommunities.com and have them install it for you.
I would suggest working your way up to Ultimate points. It's a huge mod, and it doesn't sound like you've done any installs before. If you don't want to, just hire those PC code gurus
Exactly. There is only one plugin that wont install, but its not really needed right now. Once the forum is more active maybe. (its the tag plugin)
It says it allready installed. which it isnt, because I went onto the addon list and couldnt see it anywhere.
Well, that's a bit weird. Did you ask for support on the XF forums? Did you remove the files, and then re-install them?
I think I figured it out. I uploaded the full file, instead of just the library one. Its now rebuilding the Cache.
