What are your views on HTML5?

They say it will fully be implemented in 2020++ but i think it will be much sooner. The web needs to evolve once more.

Browser compatibility should be made, and it would take a lot of time for every people to upgrade their browsers. But i guess it would be amazing once its implemented.

Trying to make everything compatible has been proven inneffective. There is this new thing called Graceful Degredation = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fault-tolerant_system

Basically users who have up to date browsers gets the latest and greatest things from the websites and users who choose to use ie5 etc will jsut get a page that's readable. No more ie hacks. browser based if statements and browser specific css like moz and webkit. Don't support the feature? To bad we won't find a workaround for you.

If one has the latest version of Chrome or Firefox one should be fine.
