How much do you spend on seo?

I know everyone must have some sort oif budget when it comes to seo so how much do you spend and what do you spend it on?

I spend about $100 per 2 months on mainly backlinks and articles but sometimes if I am a little flushed I will spend an extra $50 or so

Depends on the popularity of the keywords. It is a how long is a piece of string question, perhaps the way to accurately charge is to have fixed reporting charges and then charge on the hour for things that can't be fixed/commoditised (if thats the correct term?).

Perhaps charge on competition? or charge on results perhaps?

Time? Countless hours.
Money? None.

I do it all myself

Haven't spend any thing for SEO, using my host's seo service which is cool as of now.

Yeah agree, it totally depends on the popularity of the keywords.

I am not buying anything SEO related. I have my site's network that's doing some heavy lifting when it comes to a new site. The promotion it's done by myself in most forums/blogs I am active in.

Nothing in terms of money, small amounts of time making sure page titles, etc. are correct and relevant.
Content is King.

I spend as little as possible but I do have to spend some money to get sites out there.

Not regularly but sometimes up to $50 a month for building backlinks or bulk bookmarking.
