How many times has your forum been down?

Since I moved in to HawkHost, never!

I am on VPS , and it never goes down until i manually restart my server.

My forum has been down from hosting for one time.

Well, downtime hmm... We only went down for the resource limit for 5 mins tops a few times, then moved hosts and never been down since.

Occasionally, we get a 'failure to connect to database' error and the forum appears to be offline. But, officially the forum has only been offline twice. The first time was when the host company upgraded their firewalls. And, the second time was for a few days over a billing error. Both times was stressful.

Not once yet. My forum was just created last week.

So far none with my personal forum I host on http://solidshellsecurity.com =)

When I was being hosted by BigWetFish Hosting I used to have a site that was down around once or twice a month but usually the down time was only a few minutes. Since I moved to a new hosting I am finding that I never get any downtime and if I do there is always a genuine reason for it.

My sites have never been down on Hawkhost

Only once, and it was a nameserver change error, not our host's fault.

proboards goes out for like 10 minutes every once in awhile but thats about it

At least an hour a day :S

Never down on VPS, just down when maintenan

8 times in last two years, just because of free hosting! :/

Proboards and free hosting users: Do everyone a favor and get actual hosting, geez.

Once. When I switched the forum from my regular reseller account to the VPS we're currently using. I think it was for minutes, till they moved the database. The forum was up, I just closed it so that we don't lose posts during the migration. Don't think we had any issues. That's what happens when you PAY for a DECENT hosting plan and not depend on crappy free hosts to run your business

I've had my site go down once, maybe twice ever on MDD Hosting. That was because someone else on the shared server was doing something against the TOS and ended up taking down everyone else hosted there. But generally it's been extremely rare to see my site down, which is pretty impressive considering I run a fairly active forum with all kinds of scripts that drain resources like a shoutbox and what not.

when i started i could change i changed 20 different hosting server to find stable so 20 times++ down;p

i hope i would not have any problem with it again.
