    Probably wouldn't even buy it.
Don't take it as an insult, but spending money on a website that new or underdeveloped is a waste of money in my opinion.

New?its running about 7 months now,and 340 members is not a few score;)

im not going to sell it and im not sure of it the only who im asking is a price.

How about you give the link to your forum? Sure you have some traffic but depends on the actual site too. How can we tell how much the people posted?

Posts per member is 5 so I would say lots of the members are not active and/or spambots. You only have 1.7k posts so I would say it is not worth more then $5

thats ridicilous you dont even count the domain and the theme.

My theme is prenium one costs around 8$ and is 10x better than yours.
the domain costs 2$ so is more than 10$ for sure.

It has nice hits, the site is advertised, and it has 340 members which is a good goal so far.
  9. ashimashi Active Member

Okay if we include the domain and theme then I will put it as $15.

Just my opinion, others might buy it for more, I don't know but that is what I think.

its your opinion lol ^^i have put it lot of work and when you told me a 5$ i was said wtf:S

I dont know if i were gonna sell it.or not. but just a thought.

Ya well I forgot to look at the domain and didn't think the domain was premium but don't worry it is getting there. Mine isn't worth much either but still I wouldn't sell it even if someone offered me $100 for it.

i got bored thats why im thinking this .it does not deserve to keep that forum because i have did a lot of tries but i cant like advertise all the time and bumping threads because its rude at me,i mean if someone wants to join he will.because im not forcing anyone. Im not even have a restriction.

I would pay about $20 if I was interested in that type of forum

The statistics of the website reflected my forum (when it was two weeks old, so I was just assuming it was new). 340 members in seven months isn't something you should be boasting about either.
Unfortunately the money you spent on the domain doesn't automatically add into the final price of your website. My estimate for your domain would be $3, if you're lucky to find anyone even remotely interested in it.

Your theme is okay, but then again insulting potential buyers that your theme is better then theirs doesn't help you.

    The database doesn't really benefit anyone either, because from what I'm seeing it's full of spam;
    http://advertise4you.info/showthread.php?tid=761&pid=2538#pid2538

You (The administrator) make presence (stating that you removed the links to the spamming website), but decided to leave their post intact. A spamming post.

Lack of professionalism showed throughout the forum by the administrator is a huge drawback as well.
    Community is non-existent.

    I can go on..

Thanks for your review ,if you have any idea on what shall i change please leave it up here i know that you know smthing about forums, and even if sometimes im a nervous guy it just happens.

My english is not perfect i could improved more things in my forum if i knew some better english.

Should i remove the spam section?
    What else do you suggest?
  16. Sally.B Member

You should remove the spam section.. Spam is something no forum wants and where are all the forums ? I only see two and one is the spam section..

    >Its enough what you expect the promotion forums does not have plenty of members even the big ones, like if you had a gaming community you would have more members in it and dedicated.
That's debatable and there no sources for that statement was stated either.. There is no proof that one specific niche draws in more users in then the other, because it's just not true.

    >Im not comparing with others,at ashimashi i was compare it because i was thought and i still think the theme is better than him .What should i say ? His theme is better than mine?then i would lie.
Perhaps manners are different from where you're from but insulting users (especially potential buyers) isn't something I'm accustom to.

If you see someone who's above average weight (in other words fat) walking down the street, would you state "I weigh less than you"? (This is a rhetorical question)

    >And if you are talking about administrating no one is a profesionall ,i have read a lot of tutorials which you can't imagine and i can assure you for that and im friendly with my whole community i never had a problem with anyone,in the compare of some others big forums.
There is a fine line between being professional and being friendly. It's just something that you need to pick up in life and my best bet is you haven't yet. I've seen some communities where the staff were very professional but friendly as well (For example, WebHostingTalk.com)

I have to agree with Richard here.

The way you presented yourself to potential customers was not right, by that I mean throwing insults around and playing a game of "my site is better than yours". To me at least that is very childish and will not get you anywhere.

But I think it is a good thing that you are willing to change and take new things on.
