How many admins are needed for a Forum?

1-2. I feel like anymore than that is too much, unless you have a really big forum.

There are currently 2 admin on General Talk and I don't feel the need to have any more staff at the moment and most definitely not the for the next couple of months either, unless we get a massive surge in the activity on the forum.

Depends on the community size.

Im only one admin, but i think there can be like 1 modertor per 100 new daily added posts.

I will just have myself as an admin . I prefer it that way.

I would say it depends on the size of the forum you run as to how many admins are needed. I feel that a smaller forum needs 1 admin and around 2 mods to keep things running smoothly and then grow as you feel you need to.

At the moment my forum is getting busier and with changes happening in life at the moment I can only be on at certain times of the day which sometimes can prove a problem so I will be adding a new admin over the next few weeks and promoting someone to moderator status to help with the forum.

it depends on how many members your forum has ,and how many posts does they make in X time.

If you have like 1000 members then 1 admin is fine but if you have like 6000 members then you should need 2 administrators and at least 1 moderator.

It should be better to have only one admin, mostly forums have one admin otherwise moderators must 3 or greater than 3...

I think that the right combination of admins and mods is: 1 admin and a football team of mods!!! There isn't a right number!! It depends on forum!!
