Oh noes!

You need 20 posts to be able to download resources, post links and other things. Read more...

Have you got a usergroup for retired staff members and do you have a requirement on how long they have been staff before they can be eligible for that group?

We don't have one here but if the staff member was active for a decent amount of time or contributed a lot to the forum I give them Premium User status after they have left.

I do the same thing, basically. If I feel a staff member has contributed a good bit to the forum I'll just put them on the team. I can't be arsed to make a whole new usergroup just for people who've quit the team xD

I think a usergroup for ex-staff members is a great idea and is actually one I might use myself :D

    Thanks for the idea :)

I do not have one, maybe it is because i do not have any retired staff. But if one of my staff does retire, I will not create a rank.

I wouldn't create a usergroup entirely for them but I would give them a VIP rank to thank them for all their hard work on the forum (Presuming they have actually worked hard of course!)

I do not have a usergroup for retired staff nor do I think I will. It's just not really, needed, in my opinion.

If the staff member was really good, its good to get him/her a lifetime VIP status on my website.
the idea of a creating a special usergroup for the x-staffs is also good.

I don't see the need for making a new usergroup. I have always placed them in the VIP group with the user title something along the lines of "Ex-Staff Member".
