Usually I only spend time editing and formatting my thread if it's a big guide or something like that. Otherwise I don't bother
most of my threads are celeb pics with 100s of pics all over the place and it isnt very presentable. every one of my posts are looked at daily dated back to 6 years, i have all of them archived by thumbnail. so i arrange them in a nice order, full body shots, half shots, some, headshots, ones with people in them that fans may not want to see last. and i seperate the groups with a colored image hr line. some threads have 400 pics, i spend endless hours every week editing and arranging all my threads to please my members and visitors
Like Darth, I wouldn't really format a thread if it was just a discussion but if it was a guide or a tut of some kind then it would certainly get some formatted love from me
I format small guides and such. Most of my posts or threads are only two or three sentences like this one, so it's not really applicable.
I can't say I ever really made threads where I would care enough to bother making them look colorful. I can see if it was a guide or something like that but not for an ordinary discussion thread.
If it makes you happy editing your own forum posts to make them attractive, then you should do so. In the past, I've done this, especially when advertising a product or forum online. But most times, if i'm just responding to a thread, i don't bother.
