Have you ever hired someone to write articles for your forum? Why or why not? I would only do this if the writer was some, for my niche, pro soccer player or coach. I am against hiring random article writers online because they may not be as good.
No, however I don't think I would. I personally like writing my own articles, and I don't really have the money to spare on an article writer.
The only problem is google loves regular content, and you want to post new articles daily, and you can't always afford to pay someone to help maintain that many articles, the best way is to do it yourself, or find someone else that is willing to write for you for free. There is a golden resource for games sites, which is www.gamejournalismjobs.com And most of the people there will write for free. There are also some big names recruiting on there.
In the same boat as I do all of the article writing and at times I do tend to laspe a day and paying someone to further increase the amount of articles per day is completely out of my budget. That is a great resource there, now just need to find more like it only for other genres besides games.
And, I think it's probably harder on you, because you have to publish articles about what's upcoming in the world of sci-fi. For instance, new movies, tv shows, tech, etc. It's much easier for a blog owner who can publish ever green content that is fresh constantly, even a year from now and doesn't rely on new updates. That kind of content can be written well in advance. Niches like internet marketing, fitness and beauty fall into the ever green content. They're lucky like that.
No i never hired someone as i dont have a budjet to pay for but i would use ecxhange posts or smthing or similar to it.
I have never had one of these, And probably wont, The reason being is i do not have the money for it.
I think it is important to hire a few writers when your forum just starts out to get that initial base of content for your forum. As your forum grows older I do not think it will be needed.
Nope, I haven't. I usually don't have the funds for that sort of thing. I have accepted guest posts on my blogs before, though. And I have done some post exchanges where I have posted on other people's forums in exchange for them posting on mine. I don't usually find those very helpful, though.
I recently wrote an article for someone's blog but I got paid for it. I would personally never pay for an article, cause I like to write and handle everything myself from that aspect.
