in your opinion what is the best ecommerce software? and why? what makes it better than the rest?

i think it is magneto because its smooth and easily customized.

my wife uses zencart and i have to say it's very easy to use and setup

zencart is a cool one

wordpress is good when using the store plugin

never tried the store plugin in WP

I use oscommerce its quite easy to modify to your likings.

wordpress is greate software to sell stuff, but if you want create a website only for sell with not content, I guess Xcart may be a good choice.
