One of the worlds most notable sites, 4chan is down due to a DDoS attack. Who do you think is behind it?
Doesn't really matter who is behind it, the main cause for alarm (for them) is why they are attacking them? 4chan has done nothing wrong, it's the content posted by specific individuals which is the cause for the attacks. The attacks are aimed cruelly and in all honesty, won't succeed for much longer.
Good point Anon is behind btw and they released a video saying that Facebook gotta be shot again lol http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=/&gl=AU#/watch?v=fu0FUiey9us
Anon can try whatever they want, they can't do anything to Facebook. Has anyone forgot that FB handles nearly 44% of the internet's traffic. ie, .44 x 2000000000 (2billion) = 880M people on /day. Give or take, Anon does not have a botnet of 400M people to commence an attack on FB, and even that won't do anything. Hacking wise, they won't nor can't do anything again. FB hires software engineers from around the globe, do you think anything they release is not tested and ensured by security analysts? Nope.
Not all of the site are hackers but some are. It's like any big site.. There will be some bad people amongst the crowd. Anyways it seems to be up now.
I never was crazy about 4Chan. Visited the site once and I felt nothing more than iffy about it. to be honest.
60% of sites get Denial Of Serviced(dosed) for a reason unless its some board internet troll.. But im iffy to even join 4chan and never will
